David Banner : I realize that nobody is going to support you like you. As much as we would like to believe, that people are gonna believe in you, especially coming from the south and most labels being from New York. Ya’know in a lot of cases, I’m not saying in all cases, they don’t understand the music, which in most cases would lead people to not like it. Usually for me, they don’t even. Which can happen regardless of where you from. They don’t have to hear it they see it on paper.

Dj One 1X TyMe : What does B.I.G.F.A.C.E. stand for?

David Banner : B.I.G.F.A.C.E. Believe In God For All Comes Eventually.

Dj One 1X TyMe : Who’s on the roster?

David Banner : Mr. Marcus, I’m about to sign this r&b singer named Sky he’s handling situations and previous obligations, umm, but now that’s it right now

Dj One 1X TyMe : I know you’ve been doing production. How long have you been producing?

David Banner : Bout 12 years.

David Banner : I like Grand Theft, ya’know, violence. I like all basketball games. I like Madden. My road manager, I whooped his ass! His name is Scott Johnson! I teared into his ass boy! Put that in the article especially! I appreciate it!

Dj One 1X TyMe : Okay! You do production, so how many crates you got?

David Banner : Bruh, I got enough records to fill up a small house. Honestly. One thing I wish that our elders would understand is that if it was not for sampling, I wouldn’t be into jazz, I wouldn’t be into blues, I wouldn’t be into Celtic music. Bjork, and stuff like that. House music.

Dj One 1X TyMe : You are a true producer! Most cats I know don’t know anything about Celtic music.

David Banner : That’s just from producing. Ya’know, Koto and the whole nine. There’s so much that I’m into that people wouldn’t believe.

Dj One 1X TyMe : What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen on tour so far?

David Banner : Honestly the wildest to me is just seeing…ya’know most people would say hoes. But to see the influence that music has. From my humble beginnings, to see people not even just in Toledo, BUMPIN MY MUSIC! It’s amazing to me man because even within the things that happened. That’s all from the influence of music. To see a bus with my face wrapped up. From my music, from my hustle! I was telling my cousin, that man you grind for so long that you forget that you working for the payoff. I had been grinding so long, I can’t even lie to you. I forgot. The years were too many. You just learn to embrace it and take it to the next level.
