What is UNTILL?
UNTILL is a mobile application that quantifies and rewards uninterrupted blocks of off-screen time. Instead of pulling you deeper into your device, UNTILL makes stepping away engaging and rewarding. The main question we ask is, can you go 15 minutes without looking at your phone? When you do, launch UNTILL and leave. That’s it.
Is it available in the Appstore?
Not yet, we are actively working on that.
How do I download it?
UNTILL is currently in technical preview and is available to download through TestFlight with granted access. Go to www.untill.app and fill out the submission form. You will receive an email from TestFlight with download instructions.
Which devices and operating systems are supported?
UNTILL is available on iPhone / iOS through TestFlight. We are working to expand to Android OS in the future.
Is the app free to use?
Yes. There is no cost to use UNTILL.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. UNTILL can run offline to track and categorize your time away from phone. However, SYNC FILL feature will not be available.
How does it work?
1. Open UNTILL and select your category.

• Join a SYNC Fill to log time with others

What is a FILL?
FILLs are uninterrupted blocks of off-screen time.
There are 3 FILL Tiers: 15 minute, 30 minute & 60 minute – each earn points.
The longer the FILL, the more points you earn.

Point Structure
For every FILL you complete, you earn TILL points:
• 15 Minutes – 1 Point
• 30 Minutes – 2 Points
• 60 Minutes – 5 Points

What is SYNC and HOST?
There are additional pools of points that can be earned by engaging with others: SYNC and HOST points.
• SYNC points – Earned by joining Synchronous FILLs
• HOST points – Earned by organizing Synchronous FILLs
Both give you extra points on top of your regular TILL points.

What do these points mean?
They are a foundation for future rewards and incentives reflecting your activity and progress within the app.
Are there other ways to earn points?
Yes, in the next update you will see an INVITE button which would earn you 5 HOST points for every invite you send out.
How can I lock my phone while running UNTILL to avoid an interruption?
Guided Access is an iPhone feature that locks the device to a single app—it ensures your phone stays locked while UNTILL remains open.
How do I enable Guided Access?
1. Go to: Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access.
2. Toggle it on, then tap Passcode Settings to set a passcode (or enable Face ID/Touch ID).
3. Make sure Accessibility Shortcut is enabled.
4. That’s it! Now you’re ready to lock the phone to your app.

Using Guided Access while in UNTILL
1. Launch UNTILL and choose a category.
2. Launch Leave Mode
3. To lock your phone, triple-click the Side/Home button. You'll see Guided Access start and your phone is locked.
